As you can tell from the cover, this volume features a new character: a blonde-haired beauty.

How dreamy! A beautiful vampire girl—I wouldn’t mind letting her sink her teeth into me.
A vampire girl is already a captivating concept, but under Riv-sensei’s masterful artistry, she’s rendered absolutely flawless. The moment I received the cover illustration, I immediately set it as my desktop background—one of the perks of being the author, you see.
For those who like to start reading from the afterword, let me give you a quick introduction. This vampire girl has many scenes in the book where she’s delicately weaving lace, giving off a charmingly feminine and adorable vibe. She’s actually very graceful. In battle scenes, she doesn’t often take the frontlines; I’d say she mostly sticks to a supportive role in the rear (pretends to know nothing).
Oh, and I should address a common misconception some readers (especially my editor, N) have: that I, as an author, enjoy writing grotesque scenes. That’s completely untrue! In fact, God-Slayer of the Fire Realm King’s Sword aims to be a pure, lighthearted romantic comedy, so I go to great lengths to avoid depicting girls losing limbs or having their innards ripped out.
Yes, great lengths—extreme lengths, even.

And even if such scenes do appear, since the one getting hurt is a vampire, she’ll heal up in no time!
