Reincarnated as the Mastermind of the Story

Ren

『The Legend of the Seven Heroes』── A game that boasted of its worldwide popularity.

Ren, a university student who cleared its sequel while setting a world record, got reincarnated as a baby inside that game.

(Could it be that I reincarnated as the protagonist of 『The Legend of the Seven Heroes』?)

While indulging in such a thought, hearing his name from his mother’s mouth made him doubt his ears.

It was because that name was of a classmate of the heroes who later betrays them halfway into the story and also turns out to be the mysterious and powerful enemy who maneuvered behind the scenes to try and plunge the world into the depths of despair.

Wishing to live in peace, Ren decided to continue with his life in a remote region.

However, he ends up getting acquainted with the saint whose life was supposed to be taken by him in the game, and is led to an unexpected and unfortunate destiny.

It’s the start of a fantasy story filled with dramatic developments and heart-pounding adventures that are impossible to take your eyes off……!

  3. Hello!
I noticed that in Volume 5 there is an aboundance of: "he said", "she said", "they replied" and so on after evey single spoken sentence.
I think this is something the translator is adding of their own accord in addition to the translation to make it clearer. But it doesn't seem necessary to me and in the long run it may get annoying.

Is it possible to tone it down at least when there are tight back and forth between two characters?

    1. Thanks for letting us now! Some of the readers read in the form of audio book or so we heard, so we thought it would be easier for them that way, but if it's annoying for casual readers, we won't use dialogue tags for every line and keep only where necessary.

    2. I appreciate you looking out for listeners!
If that was your intent, I can assure you that when only 2 characters are talking, the dialogue is easy enough to follow as is and the repetition risks to have the opposite effect of disrupting the flow of the conversation in the audio.

  6. Thank you for continuing the translation! If I can make one critique, its that so far V5 has a lot of the characters ending all of the -ing words (doing, waiting, keeping, etc) with apostrophes (doin', waitin', keepin') and that sort of informality doesn't really match the characters/how the dialogue has been going since v4

    1. Thank you, for informing about the apostrophes part, the translator who was doing this series has changed because his irl problems.

The chapters released so far are corrected to original tone, and further chapters will be checked to keep it consistent.

    1. I think we changed the method for Epub making in v6 and it is not compatible with google play books and readera. Try reading it from Lithium or Moonreader app it should work on there.

We will try so, it can work on google play books too.

    2. This series got officially licensed by JNC recently and so we decided not to publish it on our website due to DMCA issues. We had announced it in discord. But we did published the whole v7 translations with epub on our Patreon. Check out there, it's free.

    4. Only first 1 to 4 or 5 volumes won't open in google play, pretty sure volume 6 and 7 does. Besides, its officially licensed by JNC, you could find the better version there.
